You know how to “eat healthy"
You’ve promised yourself this time will be different.

You’ve read the books, followed the rules, listened to the podcasts, and tried so hard to “get it under control.

The binges come back.
The guilt creeps in.
And you're left wondering, “Why can’t I just get it together?”

It’s not that you’re lazy.
It’s not that you lack willpower.
It’s that you’ve been trying to heal something alone, in secret, and with tools that weren’t made for this.

INTRODUCING

The Friends of Food Freedom

Inside this space, we build:

A relationship with food rooted in trust, not fear
You’ll start to make peace with foods you’ve long avoided, let go of rigid rules, and learn to eat with presence and ease  all within a space that honours your pace.

Safety and resource beyond food
So your body no longer has to rely on food as the only consistent comfort. You’ll gently create new, nourishing ways to regulate, rest, and respond without shame.

A community that softens the loneliness
No more navigating this alone. In this space, you’re met with real understanding  by people who truly get it. The shame starts to dissolve when you're seen, supported, and reminded that you're not the only one and that nothing is wrong with you.

This is your new home, a community, where you’ll be supported every step of the way as you explore your relationship with binge eating, build body trust, and come home to yourself so you can find your way to food freedom.

Let's do this - together.

The Friends of Food Freedom is for you if:

  • You spend all day trying to be “good” with food, only to lose control at night or on the weekend.
  • You feel anxious when eating out  scanning menus for what you’re “allowed,” only to spiral afterwards with guilt or restriction.
  • You’ve promised yourself a fresh start every Monday… only to find yourself back in the same pattern by Wednesday.
  • You’ve made rules like “no carbs,” “no eating after 7pm,” or “only healthy snacks” but end up breaking them, then beating yourself up for it.
  • You can’t relax after a binge and you're instantly calculating how to “fix it” with exercise, fasting, or being extra “good” tomorrow.
  • You think about food constantly  what you ate, what you’ll eat next, what you shouldn’t eat  and it’s absolutely exhausting.

There is nothing wrong with you for binge eating. It is in fact, a wise message from your body.

We binge eat when our most vulnerable parts are in need of connection.

But if we don’t know how to access and meet those parts of us without reaching for food, we never break the cycle of binge eating.

I work with women like you, to learn how to relate to these most vulnerable parts of yourself so you can embrace them with love, offer them the connection that they have been yearning for and bring them back into safety.

While right now you might be seeing your binge eating as a huge issue within your life, in Find Your Freedom, I teach you how to see your urge to binge as a deep call for connection from within.

Your body is talking to you.

And it’s time for you to learn how to listen and communicate with it so that you can transform the stress and trauma held within you and truly change your relationship to food.

As you walk your body into safety and you start receiving what you truly yearn for, the need for comfort from food and binging lessens as the long time request for connection gets heard.

You're here because you're ready for ...

  • A way of relating to food that isn’t built on rules or willpower,  but on trust, rhythm, and nervous system safety.
  • A space where you can be honest about your struggles and be met with compassion, not shame.
  • Tools to help you feel safe and steady when cravings and urges to binge arise.
  • New ways to support yourself so food doesn’t have to carry it all.
  • A soft place to land when the spiral starts with community, guidance, and real support.
  • A life where food feels peaceful… your body feels like home… and you don’t have to keep fighting against yourself anymore.
I'm ready - take me to the community
And that's where you'll be heading when you join

I'm in!!

Hey, I'm Alex!

Somatic therapist and your guide inside this community.

Long before I was supporting others on the path to food freedom, I spent over a decade in my own struggle with binge eating. It started after my dad died when I was 15, a moment that changed everything for me. I didn’t have the support to hold the grief, so food stepped in. It became comfort, control, rebellion, relief sometimes all in the same day. I tried everything: clean eating, paleo, vegan, colonic irrigation (yes, really), Ayurvedic retreats, yoga, mindset work... you name it, I’ve tried it (twice), but nothing stuck, because none of it actually touched what was going on underneath.

Eventually, I stopped chasing quick fixes and started listening to my body. That’s when everything changed. I found somatic therapy, got curious instead of critical, and began building a relationship with myself that was rooted in care not control. I found that my cravings were not just physical - but relational and emotional. And the more I got curious and listened to them, I was able to meet my needs, without depending on food.

Now, I help others do the same. My clients describe me as the kind of person who can hold your tears and still make you laugh in the same breath and honestly, I love that. I bring warmth, humour, honesty, and a total refusal to pathologise being human.

This space isn’t about perfection. It’s about coming home to yourself. Reconnecting with your body. And remembering that you’re not broken and you never were.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Who this isn’t for

(and what this isn’t):

  • This is not therapy
While the work is deeply therapeutic in nature, this is not a substitute for mental health treatment, trauma therapy, or eating disorder treatment. If you're in acute distress or need crisis support, please seek professional or clinical care.
  • This is not a weight loss program
We don’t focus on body control or restriction. Instead, we explore the root causes of food struggles, rebuild trust in the body, and shift from survival mode to self-connection. Your body is not a problem to be fixed. Some people do experience weight loss, as a natural by-product of their eating behaviours changing. Some people realise weight loss isn’t important anymore. I am not anti-weight loss - and if that is important to you, I hold that with you. It’s not our focus - but it can be a result.
  • This is not a place for diet culture
If you're looking for a space that promotes dieting, food rules, or willpower-based strategies — this probably isn’t the right fit. We’re here to unlearn the shame and start listening to the body instead
